Tallahassee Community Dance Initiative
We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to receive dance training and be enriched through the art form of dance.
As part of the mission of Wildwood Church, Wildwood Ballet desires to serve our community freely.
Because of this, we established Tallahassee Community Dance Initiative (TCDI) as a community engagement initiative to offer dance scholarships to students in need of financial assistance at our on-site location and to underserved populations in our community and beyond.
Currently, one of our community partners is the Boys and Girls Club of America in Miccosukee, Florida where we offer weekly dance and enrichment classes.
Through the generosity of community members, we are able to fund staff transportation, teacher salaries, and other costs involved.
Below is a short video introducing the inspiration and development of our Tallahassee Community Dance Initiative.
