Emily Gay

Teaching Faculty

Emily Gay is entering her freshman year of college. She will be attending Tallahassee Community College this fall and plans to transfer to Florida State University Summer of 2021.

She has been attending Wildwood Ballet since the age of 3, studying ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary under various teachers, as well as participating in Wildwood Ballet’s resident Company. Emily has attended FSU's young dancer's workshop two years which included classes with Suzanne Farrell. She also attended Ballet Magnificat's Summer Weekend Intensive when they visited Tallahassee. Emily has co-directed/lead a summer ballet camp for young girls the past seven summers.

Emily attends Bradfordville First Baptist Church and serves on the praise and worship team as well as serving in Youth and Children's Ministries. She has five younger siblings, three of which take dance at Wildwood. Emiy taught a three year old and a four/five year old class last year, and looks forward to sharing her love of dance with girls of all ages this year as she continues to worship through dance.
